About Discretopia

Back when I was a student taking a Discrete Structures class, I noticed that online resources on the subject were limited. None of them seemed to provide an overview of all the essential topics. There were only fragments, spread across the internet for readers to piece together on their own. I wanted to see a unified guide to discrete math, so I created Discretopia.

This website has a unique way of presenting information. Unlike most literature on math, the writing style here is casual. To help readers not get bogged down by technicalities, I approached each entry as though it were a conversation with a friend. You'll find that is the distinguishing feature of this discrete math reference.

Navigating the site is easy. Related entries link to each other and are no more than a few clicks away. This high level of connectedness is why the website's logo is the complete graph \(K_8\). If you'd like to see all the entries at once, open up the journal. You can also use the search bar in the top right to look up a specific topic.

Have fun!
